FLAVOUR NOTES

This luxurious imperial stout pours jet black with a velvety body. Matured in second-fill Planteray Rum barrels from Barbados, it offers a refined character where gentle rum notes give way to oak, cedar and vanilla. Aromas of dried fruits and treacle lead into flavours of dark chocolate, espresso and toasted coconut, all layered together and unfolding into a smooth oak warmth for an elegant, contemplative finish.

Formed in 1787 Melton Mowbray’s Society for the Encouragement of Virtue punished vice, profanity and immorality. The three ingredients for this dark seductive stout.
