Tasting Notes

Brewed with rare small-lot hops from Eggers Hops in New Zealand’s Moutere Valley, this 5.4% hazy New Zealand IPA bursts with tropical energy. Nelson Sauvin from the Olive Garden block (Lot 47J) layers sweet lime, grapefruit, and candy-like notes, while Riwaka (Lot 23E) lifts with passionfruit and pine. A generous blend of oats, wheat, and barley creates a pillowy-soft mouthfeel that carries the vibrant hop character beautifully

And why this beer?

Thirty years ago, two eager brewing students shared their first lectures, first mashes, and big dreams. A few years later, they brewed side by side in New Zealand, honing their craft among the hops that inspire this beer.

Now, Round Corner Brewing Co-Founder Colin and Fyne Ales Head Brewer Sam come together once more, drawing on that shared past to create something fresh.  This 5.4% hazy pale is our tribute to tradition meeting the new school, soft, juicy, and bursting with New Zealand hop character.  Old friends. Old knowledge. New haze.
