About Us
Round Corner Brewing Ltd is a progressive and modern craft brewery based in the 1000-year-old Melton Mowbray Market in the heart of the East Midlands. We believe craft is about the relentless pursuit of perfection. This philosophy is why we’ve grown quickly from our humble beginnings in 2018 to now producing some of the most awarded lagers and ales in the UK.
Since our foundation, we‘re one of the highest performing breweries at the biggest international brewing awards. Our Steeplechase Pale Ale won the Best Ale in The World Trophy, our Gunmetal Black is also a world champion and our Hopping Spree West Coast IPA is 4x European Champaign at the European Beer Challenge. 2023 has seen us win more awards and fans, substantially grow our business (particularly the on-trade which has more than doubled year on year) and extend our reach beyond our East Midlands heartland.
Round Corner Brewing Ltd was founded by Colin Paige, a Head Brewer who has built and run breweries across the world with 25 years commercial brewing experience, and Combie Cryan, a former City Business Director who gave it all up to follow his passion into craft beer. The pair met in 2003 in Wellington, New Zealand where they were both living and working at the time, before venturing to Melton Mowbray and starting their now beloved brewery.
The Role
Round Corner Brewing, based in the East Midlands town of Melton Mowbray (home of pork pies and Stilton cheese and now Round Corner beer) is growing strongly by volume, revenues, beers brewed, awards won, and outlets for our Uncommonly Good Beer.
Most importantly of all, we are growing by number of people who love our beer and want to drink more of it, whether that is in draft or in can. While we sell beer across the UK and internationally, we are particularly focused on directly selling more beer throughout the Midlands, the North of England and down towards the M25. We want to double down on all of these areas and are looking to supplement our already amazing sales team with an experienced sales person to place our uncommonly good beer into more of the very best pubs, restaurants, venues, wholesalers, retail and online outlets. Once in place, the same person will ensure those beers sell well for the client and leave them immediately wanting a deeper relationship with us.
Strong peer relationships with key buyers in the beer or drinks market in the UK are vital. As is a track record of taking an early stage drinks or FMCG business and making its sales (volumes, price point and brand) fly. This includes being target driven while also ensuring service standards and a client-centred culture, supported by strong internal reporting of wins and losses, delivers superb re-order rates and client satisfaction.
You will have a disproportionate impact on the future of our business including what beers we make, who we sell to and at what price and ultimately what direction we take the business in.

You will be judged by sales revenues, market reception for our beer and account retention / repeat business of the accounts you win and, as a small business, on your ability to ‘muck in’ not only with sales but with all the public facing opportunities that come Round Corner’s way including festivals and events
