Round Corner Brewing Ltd is a progressive and modern craft brewery based in the 1000-year-old Melton Mowbray Market in the Heart of the East Midlands. We believe Craft is about the relentless pursuit of perfection. This philosophy is why we’ve grown quickly from our humble beginnings in 2018 to now producing some of the most awarded lagers and ales in the UK.
Since our foundation in 2018 we are one of the highest performing breweries at the major international Brewing Awards. Steeplechase Pale Ale is the current Trophy holder for the World’s Best Ale at the Oscars of Beer – The International Brewing Awards. In 2023 we scooped multiple medals at the European Beer Challenge including a Double Gold, and 4x Gold medals. At the World Beer Awards, we were awarded 4x Country Winners and Gold medals.
In 2024 we are set to brew more beer than ever and have big plans for expanding our customer base nationally and overseas. So, we’re looking for a sales and marketing assistant to help us in this journey.
Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Sales you will:
Sales
- Process orders via our brewery management software BREWW and various selling platforms used within the business.
- Make weekly outbound calls to our current and future direct customer base to collect orders and discuss customer requirements as necessary.
- Work closely with the brewery and warehouse team to ensure a consistent order and fulfilment process form beginning to end.
- Manage customer expectations regarding order cut offs, delivery days, minimum order requirements etc.
- Working alongside Head of Sales to keep our Shopify and Web Page upto date with products & offers, creating new products etc.
Marketing
- Work with the Head of Sales and Marketing Consultancy Firm and be responsible for the day-to-day duties from the heart of the brewery, by building brand awareness and ensuring RCB is accurately and consistently presented.
- Be responsible for the day-to-day posting on social media, including content creation, scheduling, engaging in and monitoring the social conversation.
- Be responsible for B2B and B2C mailouts, using Mailchimp, to engage respective audiences.
- Keep our website up to date, updating news, editorial and creative digital content including text, images, and multimedia.
- Support with photography and video requests to create in-house or externally sourced engaging and effective content to be used on social media, e-marketing and digital adverts.
Skills and Experience
Your skills should include:
- A Strong ability to communicate and influence internally and externally.
- Strong written, numerical, and proof-reading skills.
- A qualification in Maths and English such as GCSE level C or above.
- Proficient skills on office software, especially excel.
- Organised and driven with a ‘can do’ attitude, with strong attention to detail and good time keeping with an ability to manage and be productive in a busy and complex environment.
- Curious and keen to learn about beer and business, with a passion to always push forward.
